Quick answer
To make a sticker from a video, upload your clip, trim to 10 seconds or less, set FPS, and click Create sticker. You get a 512×512 looping WebP for WhatsApp or Instagram. Free, no signup, runs in your browser.
WhatsApp and Instagram users share tiny looping reactions instead of full videos. A video to sticker maker cuts the best seconds and saves them as square animated WebP — the format many chat sticker flows expect. For a still picture, use Photo to Sticker on the same site.
What does this tool export?
You get one animated WebP at 512×512 pixels with your clip letterboxed on a transparent canvas. Audio is removed. The loop runs forever — ideal for WhatsApp animated packs and Instagram Reels or Story sticker imports.
WhatsApp and Instagram tips
WhatsApp animated stickers should stay under about 10 seconds and 500 KB when possible — trim tight and use 8–10 FPS. Import through WhatsApp’s sticker creator or a pack builder app. On Instagram, download the WebP and add it as a media sticker in Stories or Reels; silent loops work well over video.
How to make a sticker from video in 4 steps
- Drop your video into the tool.
- Set start and end on the timeline (maximum 10 seconds for export).

- Create sticker, preview, and download.
Sticker vs GIF
GIFs are universal but huge. Stickers here are square WebP meant for chat apps. Use Video to GIF when you need a wide meme for Twitter or Discord; use this page when WhatsApp or Instagram is the destination.

Trim to 10 seconds or less, export WebP, then import in WhatsApp’s create-sticker flow or a compatible sticker-pack app.
Yes. Animated WebP loops work as imported stickers in Reels and Stories. Keep the clip short for faster uploads on mobile data.
WhatsApp-style animated stickers are short loops. Longer trims also create very large files in the browser.

Shorten the trim or use 8 FPS. WhatsApp may reject oversized animated stickers.
